Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Since the establishment of the Military Academy of Malaysia (MAM-ATMA), two main programmes were offered under the collaboration between MAM and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) namely, Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics Engineering as well as Bachelor of Computer Engineering. When the MAM was upgraded to become the defence university in 2006, and with the approval from the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, two new programmes were offered including Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics (Power) and Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics (Communication). The first intake for these new programmes was in 2007. Both programmes are the responsibility of the Department of Electrical & Electronics. To ensure the success of these programmes the number of staff in the department has been added rapidly.
